The black abaya is the one you wear most, so each of ours carries one idea: embroidery on the sleeves, an ivory arch down the front, fine pinstripes, colour blocks or a beaded detail. Crepe for every day, silk crepe for a softer fall, linen for the heat and velvet for winter evenings.

Front and Back
At the front, a beige panel and a brown band break the black on one side, under a small stand collar. At the back, plain black from the shoulders to the hem.

Our black abayas come from a house that women in Kuwait have trusted since 1991, in the same location for more than thirty years. Each one starts with black and adds one idea of our own: embroidery, an ivory panel, pinstripes, colour blocks or beading, in crepe, silk crepe, linen or velvet. Unless the name says set, each abaya is sold without an inner, ready to wear over one from our Inner collection.
